E-Learning
What is E-Learning?
KSCB have become members of the Safeguarding E-Academy and can now offer e-learning to the workforcein Kent. Safeguarding children is everyone's business but it can be difficult to reach all the professionals in the county that require training. When used as a pre-learning tool, e-learning can maximise the effectiveness of face-to-face training by ensuring all delegates have a good understanding of the basic before attending KSCB's other training courses.
KSCB would like to add that e-learning does not replace the need for statutory agencies to provide face-to-face group 1 training for staff who have an on-going level of contact with children and/or their parents and carers. It also does not replace further training and KSCB highly recommend you continue your development by attending our multi agency training courses aimed at various groups from 2-8.
