The 2008-09 KSCB Annual Report contains an update on the work of KSCB in the last financial year, progress reports and information on child protection trends in the County.

March 2007 saw the conclusion of a successful first year for the Kent Local Safeguarding Children Board. Like all LSCBs across the country, we have had to manage the transition from the previous Area Child Protection Committee remit to the much wider safeguarding agenda, as set out in the Government's guidance on Working Together to Safeguard Children 2006.
