Tocuaro
A Mexican Village that is famous for its wooden masks.
Children will have a sound knowledge of aspects of life in Tocuaro such as homes, food and the surrounding countryside; use information from a variety of secondary sources; make comparisons between Tocuaro and their local area.

Where is Tocuaro?
Tocuaro, a small village on the western shore of Lake Pátzcuaro, is about 350km west of Mexico City. The nearest town is Pátzcuaro, 14kms away. About 600 people live in the village.
