Rivers: Teacher Planning         home page

Susan Shears, Platts Heath Primary School, Maidstone

Activities in this section are organised under key questions. Click on a question to list the activities.

The questions and activities relate to the National Curriculum 2000 Planning Document. They may be used with individuals, groups or the whole class, for open-ended and closed activities. The activities have been successfully trialled with Year 3 and 4 pupils, but may be used with older children too.

The activities have been designed sequentially to support effective teaching. However, not all are required, and you should select those which are appropriate to the needs and level of your pupils.
