A great website with a  large selection of lesson plans and ideas for games, warm-ups and cool-downs to help teach P.E.

NSPCC- Sport Unit
A website developed by the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, which gives clear guidance on safeguarding children in sport through a selection of video clip. This is becomming more important with the increase in the number of after school clubs and extended schools activities.

 

Swimming

 

 

The National Plan for Teaching Swimming
This website provides teachers with guidance on teaching swimming from Foundation to Year 6. It has been developed by the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) and consists of 10 stages including life saving skills.

 

Top Up Swimming Resources
This is a set of extra lessons that can be taught to try to ensure all children achieve the Key Stage Two standards in swimming. There are a set of lesson plans and an assessment tracking sheet.

A great website to help you teach football. Lots of examples of mini games and activities to develop football techniques

Teach PE
Although very Key Stage 3 and 4. This website gives some video demos of how to carry out certain skills in a range of sports including, football, hockey and tennis.

This is the official website for the 2012 Olympics. You can register on the site for additional resources and watch video clips of some of Britains young Olympic and Paraolympic Athletes.

This website is set up to inspire young people to take part in school sport.
