Celebrating the work: pupils' views

When the books were complete we celebrated our work. Many of the children had not seen other groups' stories. I set up the data projector and each group read out their stories. The children made constructive evaluations of each other's work. This also served as practice for when Class 1 joined us to see the stories for the first time.

Our Year 1 class were invited to see the books. Two children in Year 1 turned the pages using the hyperlinks, while Year 6 pupils read out their stories. Click here for an example.
