What is Podium?

Podium is a PC-based application, designed specifically for the education market. It is an easy-to-use piece of software that allows students of any age to create, edit and publish podcasts all from the same simple interface.

You can choose to either publish Podcasts locally on your own school network or use a “Hosting Service” to publish globally. If you choose the latter option many Internet Service Providers and software web-sites offer subscription or free “Hosting Services.” These include Podium whose subscription service costs between £99 and £299 depending on school size.

Before selecting a “secure” Hosting Service we recommend you carefully read the information provided by different Internet Service Providers and software suppliers.
