Buildings and natural features can be used effectively to set pupils challeng
es linked to number, shape and measurement. The Dover Schools Maths project has involved pupils outside the classroom using digital cameras to photograph mathematical problems. Following these sessions the pupils have used the web conferencing application “FlashMeeting” back in school to display their photographs and set each other mathematical problems to solve.

Following publication pupils will use the comments box to publish their questions and post their answers.
