Activities
The children will:

• Use maps and aerial photographs to locate buildings and places of local interest in the area

• Use a range of field skills to collect and record evidence of how human activity can harm and pollute the local environment

• Use ICT to present and share results with others

• Use Infomapper to locate buildings and places in Southborough

• Visit locations close to the school

• Note different types of buildings and land-use

• Use digital cameras to collect evidence to show how human activity has polluted the area (graffiti, fly tipping, vandalism)

• Upload and publish written reports and photographs on the Internet

• Created and published on Infomapper written reports, multimedia presentations, photographs, drawings and paintings of the area adjacent to the school
