Primary ICT Leaders ITN Twilights
ITN (Improving Together Networks)

4pm for a 4:15 start

Dates and venues for  Term 3 and Term 5.

The Primary ICT Improving Together Networks (ITNs) provide an invaluable opportunity for ICT Subject Leaders and Leading ICT Teachers to receive advice, guidance and updates on local and national initiatives.

Please tell us if you are coming , so we know how many coffee and biscuits to provide. It is also important for us to know you are coming so we can tell you if the twilight has had to be cancelled due to the weather or problems at the host school.

Anyone can attend a ITN meeting but your school must be subscribed to the ITN programme. ICT Leaders should find them invaluable, but anyone interested in ICT or the subject matter of the session can attend.

  • Where and when will they be?
ITN Meetings are intended to provide local support, and so will be held in host schools throughout the county each term. Anyone can attend any of the meetings without booking, so you may wish to attend one near your home or school.
Partnership meetings will last an hour and a half, usually between 4 - 5:45pm.
  • ITN Meetings have several objectives:
    • To inform teachers of new developments in Primary ICT
    • To provide information on requested, topical issues in ICT
    • To develop local support networks for the co-ordinator of ICT
    • To provide opportunities for schools to share ‘Best Practice’ To enable key staff to meet, question, and liase with LEA consultants on a regular, informal basis
  • What shall I do now?
All you need to do now is to find a meeting at a suitable venue and let us know.
