E-Mail in the Classroom
The use of e-mail in the primary classroom for international contacts

Our first ventures into using e-mail included exchanging messages with a class from a local primary school. This provided a good introduction, showing the children how quickly messages could travel. However, the scope was limited in that once we had exchanged information on our classes, schools and ourselves, we tended to run out of steam and communication became more spasmodic.

At this point we received information from the Global Hilites website, concerning an exchange with a school in Russia and our projects took off....
