Connecting the wires to the terminal blocks
Connect one wire to a numbered red Output terminal. Connect the other wire to the green Ground terminal with the same number.
- Loosen the screw on the terminal block.
- Push the wire into the block and tighten the screw.
Programming the Roamer to control an Output
Connect a motor to Terminal 3. First tell the Roamer which terminal you are using, then enter 2 to set the Output to 'high'.

Nothing happens! You must tell the Roamer to do something else - for example, move forward one step. The motor will come on while the Roamer is carrying out the commands.

The 'T' command sets Output 3 high. This makes the current flow, and turns on the motor.
Write a program to make a light come on while the Roamer goes on a journey.
