A Geographical resource for Key Stage 1 by Julie Elvy Deputy Head of St. Augustine's Catholic Primary School, Tunbridge Wells.

This book was written as a geographical resource for teaching distant places to Key Stage 1 children.
Although 'Barnaby' was originally written to enable children of St. Augustine's School to compare Canterbury with Tunbridge Wells, you can use it with your pupils by making some slight adjustments, as though it was written for your school.

The geographical vocabulary is challenging and appropriate and the pictures are fun.
