How to conduct the engagement activities

These engagement activities can be completed as a group or by individuals. Responses can be submitted on-line through completing a quick survey, or by downloading and completing the activities and either emailing the results or sending the responses back by post.

The first activity is seeking the views on the emerging priorities. Please refer to the ‘Emerging themes’ link on this site for further information. This activity is also available in Widgit format. Widgit is a software package which translates the information in to symbols, this is particularly useful to engage with disabled children and young people, children and young people with English as an Additional Language or with learning difficulties. The second activity provides people with an opportunity to give their views on what is important for them and what makes a good Kent Childhood.

Please download the activities from the links on the home page. We wish to hear the views of all community groups. It would be helpful if you could complete and return the monitoring form.

Please open up a discussion on the priorities and make any relevant notes to evidence these conversations. It is useful for us to use quotes from our community as this will help to bring the plan to life.
