Canterbury District LCT Plan 2011-14
Kent Children's Trust have invited discussions at all 12 Local Children's Trust Boards throughout the Autumn 2010 to ensure local partnership working focuses on children's needs across the District, strengthens accountability and ensures the most effective use of partnership resources including funding, expertise, knowledge and skills. Each Local Children's Trust was provided with a planning document and a performance summary to act as a starting point to assist with the identification and prioritisation of local needs. (Please note these documents were dated Oct 2010)
Local Boards were asked to report back to the KCT Executive group in early 2011 with a revised final draft district section of the plan (see above for current draft). The local Boards were asked to identify local priorities within the County wide assessment of need:
· Emotional and Mental Health (required priority)
· Healthy start in life
· Safeguarding (required priority)
· Primary aged children's learning
· Adolescent engagement
· Housing /accommodation
· Family Poverty
