Malling, Kent, head teacher chosen for key school support role.

The head teacher and staff at The Discovery School have been selected for a top role supporting schools in challenging circumstances. Alison Farrall has become one of only 75 head teachers across the country to be appointed in the latest recruitment round by the National College of Leadership of Schools and Children’s Services to the prestigious role of National Leader of Education (NLE). It also means the school is now designated a National Support School (NSS).

Agreement supports education and businesses

Canterbury City Council and the Canterbury 14-19 Partnership have put pen to paper on an agreement to support the introduction of the new Diploma qualification. The Diploma depends upon educational institutions and local employers working together for the benefit of students aged 14-19.
