Horton Kirby Environmental Centre offers so much to so many people. As well as exciting and interesting visits for all age groups, the very experienced staff can offer outreach support and training for teachers and support staff in schools.

The Centre itself is ideal for a wealth of learning opportunities for all ages. The large outdoor area has been specifically designed for learning about a range of animals and plants. Indoors we are equipped with the latest electronic resources that enhance many exciting activities. We are also lucky enough to have an authentic Victorian classroom and World War II air raid shelter that provide incredibly realistic historical experiences for any aged learner.logo_Quality Badge awarded by Council for Learning Outside the Classroom

Whether you are seeking a learning opportunity at the Centre itself or support within a school, please feel free to contact us as we are very happy to answer your questions and design a day to meet your needs.
