Cranbrook is the capital of the Weald of Kent, steeped in local history. Set in rural surroundings, it is a small market town of 7,000 residents and has a great deal to offer. The narrow medieval streets are lined with pretty, old houses, there is a wide range of boutique shops, six churches (the largest being St Dunstan’s), several hotels, pubs and restaurants, an excellent town museum and the Windmill.
Close by are the world famous Sissinghurst Gardens, Bodium castle, Tentenden and Biddenden vineyards, Bedgebury Pinetum and lots of pretty towns and villages to explore. It’s history and surrounding areas makes Cranbrook a community rich in learning resources.
