KSCB Resources and Library: Support for young people worried about abuse

Remember, you should not suffer abuse or neglect. If you are worried or feel you are in danger, there are adults who will help. Talk to an adult you trust or call one of the telephone numbers listed here.

There are other organisations that can help you with advice or will help put you in contact with others who can help. These are:

  • National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) The NSPCC has a national helpline which you can call free on 0808 800 5000.  You can also email NSPCC for advice at help@nspcc.org.uk or follow the link to the website.
  • Childline This is a confidential telephone advice service for children and young people and you can call them free on 0800 1111
  • There for me  You can get advice and talk to somebody online about a range of problems, including abuse, bullying, drugs, relationships and anything which may be worrying you.
