Some pages that contain graphic images, may extend beyond the width of a normal A4 page in portrait format. If this is the case, try printing the page in landscape format.


Communication Strategy: Choosing your Channels

It is essential that messages are given through the most appropriate channel, to ensure that they are received and understood by the relevant audiences.

A campaign might involve a mixture of different channels to reach the widest possible audience. Sticking to one channel isn't always the best plan, and getting the channels working together is good practice. It gives our customers choice and makes our message accessible.  

Face to face
Briefings, seminars, team meetings, meetings, conferences, one-to-ones

Written
Magazines, newsletters, leaflets, brochures, posters, flyers, business plans, reports and action plans

Electronic
E-mail, KNet, www.kent.gov.uk , Kent Trust Web, other relevant websites (please ask for advice), blogs, E-Bulletins

Voice
Telephone, minicom, KCC Contact Centre, voicemail and answerphones
