Kent Safe Schools LogoWhere we work

Availability of funding varies from area to area so some of our services are only available in specific areas. Services that are available countywide are:

Anti-Bullying

Kent Safe Schools employs a full time Anti-Bullying Co-ordinator, Kate Winspear, who is able to offer advice and support to schools to enable them to implement strategies and policies designed to tackle bullying
.
Kate is not able to take on individual cases or deal directly with parents, instead the approach offered is a partnership with the school to help them achieve the best outcome for the children, young people, parents and carers within the school.

For more information on Anti-Bullying activities, please contact us on 01227 284596 or email

Anti-Bullying Survey 2010

The 2010 Safe at School Survey is now open for online completion. Last year over 8,400 children and young people across Kent took part in the survey, which is free to complete for all children, young people and parents and carers across Kent.

There are separate surveys for primary, secondary children, and parents and carers which can be completed online and an infant survey which can be downloaded, completed and returned via email to
samantha.sheppard@kent.gov.uk .

Should you have any questions about the survey, or the Anti-Bullying Accreditation Scheme please contact Kent Safe Schools on 01227 284596.
