On Monday 25 February 2013, at the KFCA AGM held at Lenham Community Centre, Mairead MacNeil - Director for Specialist Children's Services & Cathy Goodwin - KFCA Chair signed the Kent Foster Carers' Charter. KCC Children's Services and Foster Carers have worked in partnership to produce the Kent Foster Carers' Charter which sets out the commitment of both parties.

A separate form needs to be completed for each child you wish to nominate and you must fully explain the contribution or improvement that has been seen over the past academic year.
Leeds Castle - Foster families free annual family pass
Since April 2012 Leeds Castle have very generously issued KCC Foster families with a free annual family pass to visit the castle. Leeds Castle have approved the continuation of the free entrance scheme for 2013. The tickets are for members of your household and you should not apply for tickets for other members of your family.
New carers are able to apply for tickets and should have received information on how to apply in their welcome bags. Click here to acess application form for new carers.
Please do not use email to apply for your tickets to be renewed, applications must be made using the application form you will have received from your Fostering Support Team.

The application form with details of the adults and children, in particular their ages, in your household. Please include your post code and if you have one, the date your old ticket expires.
REMEMBER to enclose a stamped addressed envelope in order for your tickets to be returned.

Therapeutic Reparenting Programme
We are seeking permanent families to care for children like Mark, John and Anna as they move on from Therapeutic Reparenting Foster Care.
The TRP Leads manage individual referrals for children and identify preferred locations for carers due to schools and birth family. If you are a current carer or a new applicant and are interested in becoming the family for children like this and would like to discuss this in more detail please contact: Pritpal.Sodhi@kent.gov.uk
