The Willow Children's Centre
The Willow Centre is a community building with Children’s Centre 
status. It is one of the first purpose built Sure Start Children’s Centres to be opened in November 2004.
The Willow Centre is one of eight Children’s Centres in Ashford who work together to provide a rich variety of services to children under 5 years and their families, based on the Sure Start principles through multi-agency and partnership working.
Within the centre there are: 
- Kiddie Kapers Neighbourhood Nursery which is open 50 weeks a year
- Light Bites Community Café which is run by Beaver Community Trust.
- Our own Ofsted registered crèche which is free to parents attending courses and using services on site.
We are open all year round and run a busy weekly timetable of groups and sessions.
During the holidays there are special events including family trips.
Newsletters and Bulletins giving details of these groups and events are available throughout the year and sent to all families registered with the centre.
We have a successful well established volunteering programme. If you would like to volunteer to help, including the planning and development of services. Contact us for more details.
If you are a breastfeeding mother and need support you can come along to our Breastfeeding Support Group on Thursdays 1.00pm-2.30pm.
