Health trainers can offer support and practical advice to help you make positive changes to your lifestyle, including healthy eating, exercise, losing weight, drug and alcohol concerns and much more.

 Stroll Along 

This is a free service which is part of the East Kent Health Walks service. It gives a chance to meet other parents and receive a water bottle and a bag, and the loan of a pedometer. The walk is buggy-friendly but not suitable for toddlers. The walk leaves at 9.15 am from The Village and returns for refreshments.

Lifestyle Management Course

This award is aimed at the learner who wants to gain greater understanding of managing their own lifestyle in ways that will lead to improvements in health and wellbeing. These improvements could lead on to enhanced life and work skills. In completing this course, the learner will understand the basic principles for managing health and wellbeing, specifically looking at social and life skills, health, fitness, activity, lifestyle, wellbeing and total fitness – emotional, mental, social, medical, nutritional, physical. This is a 6 week course starting on Friday 10th February, and a crèche is available.
