Joy Lane Children’s Centre has been offering services to children and families since April 2008. It is located in the grounds of Joy Lane School, in the old Infants school buildings. It provides a warm and friendly environment where families can access a range of services.
Canterbury Coastal Children's Centres bring together a range of services for children under 5 and their families in a safe, family friendly and welcoming environment. Children’s Centres have been developed across Kent as part of the Governments commitment to:

- better opportunities for parents
- stronger and safer communities
- Support for Early Years provision and Childminders
- improving economic and social wellbeing
Please note there is limited parking at the centre. Parking is available in the side roads around the centre, but please be considerate of local residents.
