This event was held on Tuesday 14 February a was great success.  The animals encountered were a tarantula, stick insect, frog, chicken, guinea pig, a bearded dragon and and the very wierd "Mexican axolotl" or salamander see pictures above.

Messy Play

For parents and children -  Friday afternoon 1.00pm - 1.45pm (under 2 years) 2.00- 2.45pm (2 to 5 years). A chance for the children to be creative. A different craft based/messy activity each week. No need to book just turn up. 50p per family.  (If you have more than one child please attend the session for the oldest child.)

Boogie Mites

Singing, movement and rhythm, for children 2 - 5 years (please book weekly) £2 per session.  Next dates to be confirmed.

Boddlers 

Monday mornings 9am - 11.30.  For Parents, babies and toddlers under 3 years -   Come and join us for play, fun and meet new people at the Children’s Centre. 50p per session.

Childminders Drop In

A drop in group for childminders and children in their care. This group meet on the first Tuesday of every month 9.00am - 11am.  A chance to meet other childminders, have a coffee while the children play. 50p per session.  Contact us for date of the next meeting.

Toy Library/Stay and Play

9.00am - 11.00am on Tuesday.  Borrow toys from our Toy Library for up to two weeks at a time for a small fee.  Avoid buying toys that children will get bored with.  This is a drop in group giving a chance for the children to play and for parents to have a chat over a cup of coffee. 50p per session

Safety Gate/Safety Pack Scheme

Superior Quality Safety gates are available at The Children's Centre for £20 and parents will have the opportunity to pay weekly (minimum of £1 a week) to spread the cost (maximum of 2 per family).  Safety packs are available for £5.  Please contact us for further information.
