New Parents Group
Photo of parent and baby's handCome and meet other new parents, chat, share ideas.  A health visitor attends on some days - contact us for more information.  Wednesday afternoons. 
0 - 4 months 1.00 - 2.30, 4 months - 1 year, 3.30 - 4.30, Toddle on (under 2s) 3.30 - 4.30pm.  No need to book just come along.

Weaning Workshop  

Wednesday 23rd May 1:30-2:30pm.  Come along and learn about when and how to start introducing solid foods, healthy options for your baby, meal planning and batch cooking, fussy eaters and healthy snacks. Please contact the centre to book a free place.

Baby Massage Taster Sessions

For babies 8 weeks to 6 months (or until they are crawling).   Next Taster sessions 18th May & 22nd June.  Please note that Baby Massage cannot be carried out within 3 days of injections or before the 8 week check. Booking required - Please contact the centre.

 

Breastfeeding Support

Thursday afternoons 1.00 - 3pm.  Drop in for a chat with other breastfeeding mothers and get support and advice from skilled advisers on all aspects of breastfeeding.  No need to book just pop in.

Drop In & Toddler Group at Hawkhurst Pre-school

A toddler stay and play session. Community Involvement Worker Val Ansell and Cara Kelly will also be available to chat about any concerns you have about supporting your family.  Every Wednesday during Pre-School term time 1:30 - 3:00pm £1 per family.  Please contact the centre if you would like further information.

Save a Baby's Life

Martyn Steers of the Royal Life Saving Society will deliver their "Save a Baby's life" class, teaching baby resuscitation techniques and choking prevention.  For parents with a baby up to 1 year.  Contact us for more information.  Next course Wednesday 13th June 10:00 - 11.30am.  Please contact the centre to book a place.  

Antenatal appointments

Mondays at 9.00am - 4.00pm - please make an appointment with your midwife.
