Community Involvement Worker - Vicky Murphy
As a Community Involvement Worker, my role is to find out what the local community needs. I liase with other agencies such as Health Visitors, School Nurses etc to provide support to families and provide courses for parents such as first aid and healthy eating.

I interview and co-ordinate volunteers and find them placements with their local children's centre area. I organise parent forums where community members can have their say about services in the area. I also offer one to one support for parents such as home safety visits, baby massage and registration visits. My role is varied and sometimes challenging, however I really enjoy working with local families and strive to do my best to provide the services they want and need.
