Welcome to The Blossom Children’s Centre which covers the areas of Upper Deal, Middle Deal, Mongeham and Sandwich.

Blossom Children Centre is purpose built to provide an exceptional and safe environment in which its staff can provide services to our community. The Modern Building is to be found in the grounds of The Downs Church of England School and has easy access from both Downs road and Salisbury road by way of a footpath.

           

The Children’s Centre provides a number of events, activities, groups and courses for those with children pre-birth to 5 years for both Child and Parent/Carer that aim to help grow your relationship with your child, also providing the opportunity to interact with other parents/carers using our fun and friendly facilities. We can provide support for you through any difficulties you may be facing, whether it is through peer support from one of our community volunteers or our friendly Children’s Centre Team.

    

Your local PCO is holding another Community Surgery on 6th March at Blossom Children's Center, from 10 - 11am, they want to hear your feedback about your community.

The new Inbetweenies group has started and proving a great success, it is a gentle introduction to toddler groups from the baby clubs in a fun and friendly way and will be held every wednesday at Blossom Children's Center from 10.00 untill 11.30

 Also, Blossom's new Baby Massage "drop in" group is from 1.30 until 3.00 every wednesday, with our centre staff. It is an opportunity to learn massage strokes and techniques for babies and meet new people in a friendly informal environment.

FIT and FUN! has returned to Blossom Children's Center every thursday, 1.30 - 2.30pm. The session is suitable for children aged 2 years+ it includes fun exercises, yoga type poses and parachute games, why not come along?

On the 27th February we will be holding our next parent and volunteer forum so if you have any ideas, comments or feedback for us we would love to hear them.
