What is Work Related Learning?
WRL builds on existing practice in schools. It has traditionally been provided through careers education, work experience and education/business links. It is now a statutory requirement for schools to deliver WRL, within a clearly defined framework, for all students in Key Stage 4.

The importance of Work Related Learning in the school curriculum has been a constantly changing one over many years, but teachers and students have always appreciated the learning opportunities offered by experiencing a work environment outside the classroom.
