The Support Staff Team provide a range of services and assistance towards the development of the School Support Staff contribution to children's teaching and learning. The special focus is the continuous professional development work for Administrative Staff, Learning Support Staff, Pupil Support Staff, School Site Staff and Technicians. 

There are: 

• Introductory/Induction Workshops
• Support to the further development of Skills for Life, especially Literacy, Numeracy and ICT
• Short Specialist Courses
• Extended programmes and links towards nationally recognised qualifications at levels 2 and above, including Higher Level Teaching Assistant status and Support Work in Schools (SWiS).
