The Kent Challenge

Kent Challenge Protocols & Procedures Manual (Draft)

Following the Secretary of State’s request in March to all Local Authorities to submit a plan for tackling under performance, we have been working on an approach that we are calling 'Kent Challenge'.

The background to the development of this model and the draft framework for Kent Challenge can be accessed here. The submission to the DfE can be accessed here (please note that the submission document was written in March and all figures and percentages have changed with 2011 results).

We are committed to working with all our schools in a collaborative partnership. Kent Challenge, along with the formation of EduKent and the Kent Association of Schools will ensure that the Local Authority continues to know and support all its schools wherever possible.
