This serves as an introduction to the use of ICT in the teaching of history at Key Stages 1 to 3.
The aims of the resource
The site divides into four sections; the first section illustrates the ways in which new technology can enhance learning outcomes, the second spells out the statutory requirements relating to the use of ICT in teaching National Curriculum history, the third outlines some of the possible opportunities for integrating the use of ICT into National Curriculum history lessons, and the fourth details some forms of hardware and software which can be used in history teaching.
