Gunpowder, Treason and Plot

A website from the Parliamentary Archives and the 24 Hour Museum. Using an old set of playing cards and lots of archive material, it explores the Gunpowder Plot for Key Stage 2. Designed as a retrospective, for the 400th anniversary of the Plot, this is an imaginative way in to the topic.

Charles BoothCharles Booth Online Archive

The Charles Booth Online Archive website allows you to explore the collection in detail. You can search or browse his poverty maps of London and compare it to a 2002 map, as well as Booth's diaries and some of his letters. A superb resource for Victorian London, poverty and much else.
