provide strategic leadership and development in Foundation Subjects in Kent Primary Schools  to implement curriculum related national and local initiatives in order to raise achievement and develop a rich, purposeful and exciting curriculm.

Working through the brokered support process, we provide:   

    • Curriculum and subject support to all phases
    • Advice, monitoring and challenge to schools
    • Support for whole school schemes and activities
    • Capacity in Local Children's Services Partnerships (LCSPs) and areas by identifying and disseminating effective practice across the local authority through:
       
      • Leading Teachers
      • Subject Websites
      • Conferences, CPD events. LCSP based groups and networks

The Independent Review of the Primary Curriculum

The interim report from Sir Jim Rose has focused on five key aspects which will be further examined and refined for the final report.
