Child writing

Our aim was to inspire children as writers through the exploration of Kent’s resources and environment. Children were provided with motivating stimuli and learning experiences in a variety of settings throughout the county.

The project supported the value that children place in having a voice, a sense of purpose and an audience.

Eat your Maths

Chef ImageEat your maths is a pilot scheme being run across Kent in 14 schools. The aim is to raise attainment in mathematics through practical mathematics activity, in food technology and healthy eating.

The emphasis of the project is to teach upper juniors measures and number elements of the mathematics curriculum.

Children create their own e-recipes, cost, shop, prepare, cook and eat their work!

Their learning will be shared here!
