 Update to E-Profile

The e-profile has been updated with the changes that have been made to the Foundation Stage Profile points 5 & 6 of Linking Sounds and Letters. Changes have been made in response to the Rose Report and an Early Learning Goal for Linking Sounds and Letters has also been changed. Please note that these changes should be implemented immediately and the attached version of the e-profile should be used from September 2007.
All schools should receive, during September 2007, replacement pages for the Curriculum Guidance for the Foundation Stage and the Foundation Stage Profile Handbook. These pages are updates and should replace the original pages of the same number.
The Foundation Stage Profile will be updated again in September 2008 when the Early Years Foundation Stage becomes statutory and it will be called the Early Years Foundation Stage Profile. The present handbook will be relaced and additional exemplification materials will be made available. The e-profle will be updated again to take account of this and will be available in September 2008.
A link to the updated e-profile is provided here http://schoolsportal.suffolkcc.gov.uk/schools/FSP
