Assessment for Learning Framework for Physical Education
This resource is the result of extensive research and development work by the Kent Assessment Group for Physical Education. The resource advocates a new approach to assessing pupil progress and has been trialled across Kent in the county’s Specialist Sports Colleges and in a focus group of primary schools.
The resource includes:
- A Teacher’s guidance booklet on assessment in PE
- A DVD modelling how the assessment for learning approach can be used within lessons and exemplifying how learning and teaching looks at each of the National Curriculum Attainment levels.
- A photocopiable resource booklet full of tools to help teachers plan for assessment in PE
- A set of pocket size teaching cards featuring key questions, for use with pupils, relating to each of the National Curriculum attainment levels.
