We will be contacting schools on a Cluster by Cluster basis over the next year as we programme the roll-out of free school and teacher accounts over the coming year. Schools wishing to get started early or to enquire about accounts for learners can contact the KLZ team using the information below or by downloading and returning the enquiry form.

Due to the recent Free Core Bandwith offer from Kent Community Network,  Kent Learning Zone offers  school and teacher subsidised accounts to each Kent maintained school subscribing to the KCN service. The programmed roll-out to schools will also replace the Easymail free accounts provided by Kent Community Network. For more information about this offer please click here

If you already have a Learning Platform or VLE, don't panic! EIS and the CFE Digital Curriculum Team are working initially with Becta approved Learning Platform suppliers to integrate their products. Suppliers and services will be prioritised in response to demand from schools.

Kent Learning Zone Roadshows

During January and February 2008, Kent Learning Zone hosted a series of roadshows to preview the KLZ.

Delegates from approximately 300 schools across the County attended the roadshows watching presentations and demonstrations from CFE and EIS as well as four Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) providers who are the first to be integrating their products within the KLZ.

The presentations from the roadshows are available below.
