Investing in You
All of our programmes are included in the Investing in You plan. Further information can be accessed through clicking on highlighted links. We produce a periodical Newsletter and a Programme and Events Calendar which lists our in-house courses and other events for Children’s Social Services. These two documents will bring you the latest information on new developments and new items in learning and development for Children’s Social Services. Everything we publicise is planned, approved and funded through the CSS Professional Development Group which is a sub-group of CSSMT and is chaired by Cathy Yates, Head of Childrens Services (Mid Kent). Generic Training (Induction, Equalities and Diversity, Health and Safety, Customer Care and Complaints, Personal Development) -
As part of the Childrens, Families and Education Directorate of KCC, CSS is also a member of the Staff Development Group, which commissions training for all Divisions within CFE. This Group outlines key priorities for all CFE staff as follows:
