Information re: Industrial Action by Teachers 30 November 2011

A number of unions – including the NUT, NASUWT, ATL, NAHT, GMB and UNISON – have now announced that they will be taking industrial action on 30 November 2011, which will be nationally co-ordinated.

Consequently we want to ensure that headteachers/managers and employees are aware of their responsibilities in relation to managing and taking industrial action on 30 November.  The following links set out guidance for managers and FAQs for employees, plus DfE advice on handling industrial action in schools.

If you manage staff who do not readily have access to Kent Trust Web as part of their job please ensure you make the employee FAQs available to them.

If you have any questions regarding industrial action please contact your Personnel provider.
