Statutory Requirements & Data Quality

The main purpose of the Statutory Requirements & Data Quality stream is to manage the quality of data used by the Children’s, Families and Education Directorate (CFE).  Predominantly this data is derived from the IMPULSE and Capita ONE Systems, but may also include data received from other Directorates and partner agencies.

Our main principles for managing the quality of data are; accuracy, validity, reliability, timelieness, relevance and completeness.

Data that is managed by us can also be subject to government Statutory Returns.  Information can be found on the differing returns within the proceeding pages.
