The External Funding team provides schools (and all divisions within the Children, Families and Education Directorate advice and guidance on external funding opportunities and project development.  If you plan to pursue external funding, please contact us by emailing cfe.externalfunding@kent.gov.uk  

Grants4Schools

KCC Children, Families and Education has subscribed to the new Grants4Schools database on behalf of all Kent schools, providing a valuable resource for any school which wishes to apply for external funding.

The database includes:

• a searchable grants database of interest to schools and education professionals;
• a grants directory, including case studies of schools which have successfully applied for external funding;
• a grants mind map;
• the latest funding news; and
• a list of application deadlines.

To access the database, please email cfe.externalfunding@kent.gov.uk, providing:

• school name and location;
• name, role and email address of your school's chosen contact.

Your username, password and instructions will be emailed to the school's chosen contact to allow access to the database.  You will also receive a regular copy of the Grants4Schools newsletter, which summarises latest funding news and gives brief case studies of successful funding applications.
