| Budget book updates The "Budget Book" is a collection of the local authority's main regulations, advice and guidance on financial matters for schools. The first part "the Scheme for Financing Schools" is the set of legal requirements that bind the relationship between schools and the local authority. The other parts that follow it provide supporting advice, guidance and further details on financial procedures, many of which are also mandatory.
