Welcome to Kent Youth and Community

Kent Youth and Community offers young people aged 11 to 25 a wide range of social and educational activities and experiences.

We have hundreds of activities on offer in locations around the county.

Young people aged 14-25 can join the Duke of Edinburgh Award and "Go for Gold" Young people can also become a Member of the UK Youth Parliament and represent other young people.

We operate 28 youth centres as well as detached and mobile projects operating in towns and rural areas.

We run Outdoor Education Centres where youth groups and schools can stay for a night, a weekend or a week. Try Kent, France, or North Wales - you can make an enquiry on line.

KEY Training Services offer post 16 training programmes including vocational courses such as Basic Skills, NVQs and Modern Apprenticeships in 5 training centres spread around the county.

Youth and Community work in partnership with many Voluntary Youth Organisations in Kent to complement the wide range of opportunities on offer.

As part of the new Connexions Service for 13 to 19 year olds we are developing a number of information, advice and support centres with cyber café facilities. These centres deal with all issues affecting young people.
