As from 1st April 2006 Children's University has moved into the Community Development Unit within the Children, Families & Education directorate.

For full details see How to contact us Kent Children's University - Something for Everyone As part of an on-going development process Kent Children's University (KCU) is proud to announce the arrival of a more flexible system of modules.

We have become more customer-centred, and are now able to offer tailor-made solutions to individual schools, groups of schools or clusters to ensure we meet your requirements.

KCU no longer just offers three Saturdays morning sessions, we are now able to proivde a bespoke service supplying our clients with new & inivitive solutions to out-of-school-hours (Study Support) provision :

For example we can now offer :
Summer Schools,
Holiday Time Clubs,
Family Learning workshops,
Masterclasses,
Transitional Workshops,
Youth University (for Key Stage 3),
and of course, the traditional KCU (for Key Stage 2 children)

Costs for these are minimal and can often be funded by outside agencies, such as Awards for All.
