• New Governor Induction Pack (Sept 2008) This document can be downloaded and modified to suit your school. It provides a framework, is designed for school specific "induction" and leads you into Governor Induction Training (by KCC ASK). It attempts to bring together all information that a new governor would need about the organisation and work of your school governing body. The action plan provides timely discussion for maximum benefit in order to ensure governing body effectiveness, whilst making sure that the new governor is not overwhelmed or pressurised. It also helps to identify and plan the individual's training needs from the outset. A two year training plan is envisaged. The actual pack contents will be uploaded in due course.
