Welcome to the Dartford West LCSP.

Our Partnership came into being on 1st September 2008. It builds on the excellent work previously undertaken for the past few years by the Education Cluster and the Dartford Children's Multi-agency Consortium. This had seen the creation of many positive collaborations and new service developments across schools, agencies and age ranges.

The new Partnership has many challenges ahead but also tremendous assets within local communities and families as well as absolute commitment to work in partnership within the local children's workforce. The Partnership will move forward under the auspices of the LCSP Board which is independently chaired by Patricia Jefford.

The LCSP covers a large part of Dartford, a mainly urban area with pockets of open space. Dartford West stretches from the River Thames shoreline in the North to the A2 arterial road and village of Wilmington in the South and from a border with the London Borough of Bexley in the West to Stone Hospital in the East.

We need your input to make this site work for you. The information shown here is regularly updated and we hope families, schools and partners will become regular users and contributors. Currently all minutes, agendas and associated papers for LCSP and related meetings are posted on this site as well as important information regarding forthcoming local events. This is a platform on which we need to build so as to make this dynamic, interactive and useful in improving outcomes for the children and young people of Dartford.
