Headteacher/Deputy/Assistant Headteacher Groups
After an audit of priorities completed in June 2008 we established a number of focus groups to which all our Heads and many of our Assistant/Deputies are attached.
Colleagues chose according to the needs of their school and the four groups are focusing on:
- Personalised Learning and the use of ICT to support this
- The Creative Curriculum
- Engaging parents
- Assessment.
The groups meet at least 3 times a year for the afternoon following the Partnership Headteacher meeting, with most of them meeting more frequently than that. The idea is that these groups support the participants with a key issue they have identified but also that their deliberations are shared to all schools.
