Swale

The Spark Project

The Spark Project works within seventeen primary schools in Swale, delivering an early intervention service designed to boost emotional health and wellbeing. The project consists of a team leader and four project officers who work directly in schools, as well as a CAMHS worker.

Thanet 

Parenting Support

Our Senior Parenting Officer works to provide support and advice to parents in Thanet, supports parenting practitioners and groups in Thanet and delivers the Strengthening Families Strengthening Communities programme. For more information about this please contact us.

Launch Pad

Based in Thanet, the Launch Pad works to provide educational support for Key Stage 1 and 2, primary aged children and young people who have been excluded from school.
The project aims to continue a programme of literacy and numeracy developed to meet the needs of the child as well as activities to develop communication and social skills and ensure a successful return to school.
The Launchpad staff work with restorative approaches to reduce repeat offenders.

Motiv8

Our Motiv8 project officer works in schools in Thanet and delivers direct work with children and young people who are excluded from school and preventative work with children and young people who are at risk of exclusion from school.
This work includes self esteem, anger management, social and communication skills and the project officer works closely with the Launchpad to deliver these services.

Domestic Abuse 

Working in Thanet schools, our Domestic Abuse Project Officer promotes awareness of healthy, positive relationships through group work and work with school governors and staff.
Liaising with other agencies and partners to share practice and information around domestic abuse is a key part of the project, as is researching and developing resources to deliver with children and young people.
